Welcome to HipChat ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our app, you ("user", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the app.

1. Use of the App

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use HipChat. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use [Your App Name] for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms.

Prohibited Use: You agree not to:

2. User Content & Communication

• Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you share within the app, including messages and profile information.
• Content Moderation: We may implement content filtering to promote a safe environment but cannot guarantee complete moderation. Users can enable or disable content filters at their discretion.
• Temporary Chat Storage: Messages are temporarily stored and deleted once a chat session ends. We do not retain chat histories.

3. Premium Subscriptions & Payments

• Subscriptions: We offer premium features through in-app subscriptions, managed securely via third-party services.
• Benefits of Premium: Premium users enjoy features such as:
• Ad-Free Experience
• Access to Filters
• Premium Member Status
• Billing: Payments are processed via trusted app store services. Prices, billing terms, and renewal policies are outlined on the subscription screen.
• Cancellations & Refunds: You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your app store account. Refunds are subject to the policies of the app store provider.

4. Ads & In-App Purchases

Non-premium users may see third-party ads. Ads are displayed in accordance with advertising guidelines and are not endorsed by HipChat.

Certain app features may include in-app purchases. All transactions are final unless stated otherwise by the app store provider.

5. User Safety & Conduct

We strive to provide a positive environment. Users must:

• Treat others with respect.
• Avoid sharing personal, sensitive, or financial information within chats.
• Report abusive behavior through our in-app reporting system or by contacting support.

6. Account & Data Management

• Anonymous Authentication: The app uses anonymous sign-in, linking your data to your device.
• Restoring Purchases: Subscriptions can be restored through the app store in case of reinstallation or device change.
• Data Loss: Since data is tied to the device, uninstalling the app may result in data loss.
• Data Privacy: Refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we handle your data.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property related to HipChat (excluding user-generated content) are owned by WIDS Corp or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any part of the app without explicit written permission from us.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to HipChat without notice if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in behavior that could harm our app or other users. Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted to you under these terms will cease.

9. Disclaimers

• No Warranties: HipChat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free functionality.
• User Interactions: We are not responsible for the behavior of users within the app. Exercise caution when interacting with others.
• Limitation of Liability: We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may modify these Terms occasionally. You are responsible for reviewing the most current version of these terms. Your continued use of HipChat after any changes means you agree to abide by the revised Terms of Service.
